Evening Pickers & Packers – 20hpw

Our client, a large retailer based in Antrim are currently hiring Pickers & Packers for their distribution centre. Positions are part time Monday to Friday, no weekends. Inductions will be held on Friday 5th November and Friday 15th November so candidates must be available for either of these dates.

Position: Evening Pickers & Packers

Location: Antrim

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £11.50 per hour + Additional Weekly Bonus

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 6.45pm to 11pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Using Handheld Scanners to locate stock
• Picking & packing products ordered by the customer/ store
• Operating on a pick per item basis
• Working independently as well as part of a team to ensure pick targets are met
• Packing products & labelling for distribution
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the client
• All other duties as required by the client

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a retail/ stockroom/ warehouse environment
• Own transport is a necessity, due to the location public transport is not operational in this area
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team to achieve company targets

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience using handheld scanners
