Forklift Driver

Ashton Recruitment require a number of Forklift Driver for our client based at Belfast Harbour. Our client is a port-centric cargo handling, warehousing, and logistics business. Permanent positions will become available dependant on performance, attendance & timekeeping.

Position: Forklift Driver

Location: Belfast Harbour

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Rate of Pay: £11 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• All forklift duties as required
• Unloading boats and trailers
• Operating counterbalance forklifts – pallet work
• Following all health and safety as set out by the client

Essential Criteria:

• At least two years previous forklift experience
• Valid Counterbalance Licence

Desirable Criteria:

• Forklift clamp attachment training
• Manual Handling Certificate
