Forklift Driver / Picker & Packer

Our highly successful client based at Nutts Corner are currently recruiting a Picker and Packer with a forklift licence to work in their retail department. The successful applicant will be loading and unloading trailers using clamp and boom attachments. Although experience isn’t essential the ideal candidate will have previously worked with these attachments, training will also be provided on site.

Position: Evening / Nightshift Forklift Driver

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Rate of Pay: £12 to £12.65 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7pm – 3.30am

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Sortation of goods
• Picking and packing
• Unloading and loading of company vehicles using forklift
• Working as a team to ensure deadlines are met
• Scanning products using hand-held scanners
• All other warehousing duties as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures as set out by the client

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Counterbalance Licence
• Excellent work ethic to keep up with the team to ensure targets are met
• Computer Literate
• Ability to motivate yourself to complete the job to highest standard possible
• Previous experience working in a fast paced environment

Desirable Criteria:

• Own transport is desirable as due to location public transport in inaccessible.
• Previous experience with boom / clamp attachments
