Forklift Driver- Valid Forklift License

Ashton Recruitment requires a Forklift Driver for our client based at Belfast Harbour. This position will be full time with the view of becoming a permanent Forklift Driver after 12-week probation period.

Position: Forklift Driver

Location: Belfast Harbour

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• All forklift duties as required
• Unloading boats and trailers
• Operating various forklifts
• Following all health and safety as set out by the client
• Transporting loaded pallets through the yard
• Flexibility to work around the clients’ requirements as overtime may be required

Essential Criteria:

• At least two years previous forklift experience
• Valid Counterbalance Licence
• Previous experience working with pallets

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a logistical setting
• Manual Handling Certificate
