General Operatives

Our client based in Belfast are currently hiring General Operatives /Drivers to set up and mange the flow of traffic across NI. If you hold a valid UK driving licence and enjoy being out on the road this position would be ideal for you.

Position: Traffic Management Operatives *IMMEDIATE START*

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour

Hours of Work: Various hours available

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Setting up various traffic management systems such as contraflows, narrow lane systems, lane closures, temporary traffic lights
• Working as part of a team to ensure traffic management flow is set up correctly and according to designed plans
• Driving & setting up traffic management equipment across Northern Ireland
• Managing the flow of traffic at temporary lights due to road works/ lane closures
• Providing excellent customer service as this role could be customer facing working with the public

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Maximum of 3 points on licence
• Previous labouring/ warehousing/ manual handling experience

Desirable Criteria:

• Valid CSR Card
• Previous traffic management experience
