General Operatives

shton Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit a pool of General Labourers/ General Operatives to work between a number of clients based in the Duncrue area. We are looking for candidates who have the flexibility to work various days throughout the week and are willing to undertake any tasks required.

Position: General Labourers/ General Operatives

Location: Duncrue, Belfast

Duration: Temporary Ongoing (Shifts will be confirmed on a Weekly/ Daily Basis)

Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour for each shift worked

Overtime: Time and a half

Hours of Work: Various hours of work between 7am-7pm (Candidates can choose to work 1-7 Shifts per week)

Benefits: Free on-site car parking, over time available, pension and holiday contributions, PPE Supplied

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Assisting the loading and unloading of containers
• General housekeeping duties
• Assisting in the movement of goods
• Lifting, Loading and Carrying
• Working in a safe and timely fashion to ensure all deadlines are met
• Working in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Cleaning, sweeping and general cleaning of site
• All other labouring and cleaning duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in an industrial/ warehouse/ manufacturing environment
• Heavy lifting
• Flexibility
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Good attitude to work
• Willing to undertake any task to the best or their ability

Desirable Criteria:

• CSR Card
• Manual Handling Certificate

Note: Our client will supply PPE (Not including Safety Boots) and undertake Drug & Alcohol Tests unannounced.
