HGV 2 Driver

Ashton Recruitment are recruiting for our client based in Belfast. This position is ideal for someone who wants to develop their skill set. After 12 weeks probationary period based on performance, time keeping and attendance you will be offered a permanent position.

Position: HGV 2 Driver
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Rate of Pay: £13.98 per hour
Hours of Work: Core hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. Weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Overtime available.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Maintaining the vehicle in a clean condition
• Assisting with loading & offloading of raw materials
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the business
• Delivery of various Quarry materials to road construction & private operated sites
• Waste management

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Experience in waste management
• Previous experience in tipping

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working in a Quarry setting
