Nightshift Team Leader

Our client based at Nutts Corner is currently recruiting for a Nightshift Team Leader to work on their sortation department, the nightshift team leader will be responsible for assiting in running the shift, ensuring employees are meeting productivity targets and are kept motivated.

Position: Nightshift Team Leader

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Temporary (Permanent positions can applied for internally)

Rate of Pay: £12.86 to £13.25 per hour, depending on experience

Hours of Work: 21:30 to 05:30 hours – 5 days over 7 days per week (start/finish times may fluctuate in line with operational needs)

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• To ensure deliveries are unloaded and assembled correctly according to client specification
• To have an authority figure on the floor, you will be directing staff with their duties and ensuring the team is working well together, whilst leading by example
• To arrange staff rotas/cover to create a proactive environment with efficient product workflow
• To assist Supervisors and Managers in all other duties

Essential Criteria:

• Computer literate with good numerical, literacy and accuracy skills
• Able to motivate yourself to complete the job to highest standard possible and create a proactive environment
• Able to assign and adapt duties to meet strict deadlines
• Able to work flexible shift patterns and working hours including weekends and statutory holidays
• Professional and responsible customer focused attitude
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Criteria:

• Own transport is desirable as due to location public transport in inaccessible
• Desire to work towards HGV 1 licence and able to shunt trailers
• Good working knowledge of NI and ROI
• Knowledge of coaching and development techniques
