Nightshift Team Leader

Ashton Recruitment requires a Team Leader for our highly successful client based in Nutts Corner.

Position: Nightshift Team Leader

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £13.25 TO £13.94 per hour, depending on experience

Hours of Work: 21:30 to 05:30 hours – 5 days over 7 days per week (start and finish times may fluctuate in line with operational needs)

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• To ensure deliveries are unloaded and assembled correctly according to client specification
• To have an authority figure on the floor, you will be directing staff with their duties and ensuring the team is working well together, whilst leading by example
• To arrange staff rotas/cover to create a proactive environment with efficient product workflow
• To assist Supervisors and Managers in all other duties

Essential Criteria:

• Computer literate with good numerical, literacy and accuracy skills
• Able to motivate yourself to complete the job to highest standard possible and create a proactive environment
• Able to assign and adapt duties to meet strict deadlines
• Able to work flexible shift patterns and working hours including weekends and statutory holidays
• Professional and responsible customer focused attitude
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Criteria:

• Own transport is desirable as due to location public transport in inaccessible
• Desire to work towards HGV 1 licence and able to shunt trailers
• Good working knowledge of NI and ROI
• Knowledge of coaching and development techniques
