Production Operatives

Ashton Recruitment requires Production Operatives for our client based in Mallusk .

Position: Production Operatives

Location: Mallusk

Duration: 13 weeks temporary to permanent

Rate of Pay: Starting at £12.42 per hour

Hours of Work are based on 3 rotations as follows:

• Early shift – Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm (2.30pm finish on Fridays)
• Mid Shift – Monday to Friday 3pm – 11.30pm (10.30pm finish on Fridays) paid 10% extra for these shifts
• Night Shift – Sunday to Thursday 10.30pm – 7.00am paid 17% extra for these shifts

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Manual handling (training provided)
• Preparing equipment for coating
• Suspending metal objects from conveyor hooks and placing in the correct place
• Undertaking all duties as required by the client
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to
• Coating objects
• Cleaning objects to prepare for coating
• Removing objects from tanks after specified time period
• Working outside will be a necessity throughout the year

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous Production/Manufacturing experience.
