Stock Controller

Ashton Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Stock Controller for our client based in Belfast.

Position: Stock Controller

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Starting Salary: £27,500 to £30,000

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm

Benefits: – 36 days pro rata per annum including statutory days; Easter 4.5 days, July 4.5 days, Christmas/New year 5.5 days

Duties:

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders for quantity and quality
• Identify and report any discrepancies with deliveries to suppliers
• Monitor stock levels across all products
• Preform regular stock checks to verify accuracy of computerised reports
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
• Raise and complete stock orders
• Deliver stock to customers from time to time
• Maintain and clean a safe working environment

Essential Criteria:

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Good Level of Computer literacy with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience in stock management
• Be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written.
• Basis Access NI check to be completed
