Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader for our Retail & Warehousing client based at Nutts Corner. The successful candidate will have previous Team Lead experience; however, this is not essential as should the candidate demonstrate the skills appropriate for the role, training will be provided.

This role will be 4 days on and 4 days off so it will include weekends at times and applicants must be flexible to work across all days. This shift rotation offers a great work life balance whilst also working within a stockroom like environment processing orders for a highly successful home & clothing retailer.

Position: Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Nutts Corner

Duration: Permanent

Rate of Pay: £12.47 to £13.50 per hour, based on experience

Hours of Work: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off – 6am to 6.30pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Locating goods, picking, and packing
• Leading a small team of order pickers & packers
• Arrange staff rotas/cover to create a proactive environment with efficient product workflow
• Working in a stockroom like environment
• Manage, motivate and inspire a small team to work effectively under pressure
• Sorting of goods & Dispatch duties
• Ensuring dispatch timescales are met by monitoring productivity
• Location management and stock check functions
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures as set out by the client
• Use of handheld scanners

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a retail/ stockroom/ warehouse environment
• Own transport is a necessity, due to the location public transport is not operational in this area
• Ability to control picking, packing, put-away activities to ensure dispatch timescales are met
• Ability to Ability to work flexible shift patterns and working hours

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience using handheld scanners
• Previous supervisory experience preferably in a fast-moving warehouse environment
• Computer literacy skills
